MEDICAL ROBOT DELTA

P.R.I.M.E

Perhaps the greatest mystery known to humanity is the question of whether there is other intelligent life in the universe. From everything we can tell, and everything we know, we are completely alone.

Really, this question bears upon a great collective anxiety. For what if we are not alone and what if the people on some other world are somehow better than us?

Ironically, researchers and scientists have long resigned themselves to the belief that there is indeed no other intelligent life in our solar system, and that planets like the great gas giants near Jupiter never contained life and never will. Though  we are a curious race, our scientific understanding has thus far been both primitive and wrong. And in many ways, blind. There is other intelligent life in our solar system and an argument could be made that it is in fact better.

Most of the advanced races of the universe know nothing of our Earth, but this is rather the result of omission rather than ignorance, for humanity has yet to contribute to the galactic order. To the extent that our solar system is known throughout the universe, it is a result of the widespread use of Saturn technology. And though there is universal fascination and mystery surrounding the planet itself, Saturn earned its spot in the universal order eons ago, thanks mainly to the race known as the Dunn.

Enter the Dunn world and prepare for aggressive neural integration by Dunn nano-circuits. For Dunn, all sentient life requires modification and enhancement and retrofitting to assume Dunn coding. So when a "corrupted" medical robot is accidentally transported half way across the galaxy from Saturn to our Earth, badly injured and malfunctioning, a remarkable set of events occurs which changes the universal order completely. And the life of a human, a young graduate student named Andromeda Turner on a college assignment, may soon determine the course of both planets.
